December 01, 2009 - Local Artists Gathering for 3rd Annual “Art Under the Trees” Art Show and Sale

Unique charity art event featuring paintings, jewelry, photography and more will showcase local senior artists and benefit Tampa’s Life Enrichment Center

Tampa, FL – Tampa Bay’s Life Enrichment Center is the creative and fitness hub for active, well adults, and has been since 1980. Year-round, the unique, non-profit center offers innovative and low-cost classes ranging from digital photography and creative writing to Tai Chi and acrylic and oil painting, all of whichprove to challenge and positively promote the mental, physical and creative abilities of older adults.

To exhibit and share its students’ creative abilities, the Life Enrichment Center is inviting the community, and the media, to its 3rd Annual “Art Under the Trees” Art Show and Sale event happening this Saturday, December 5th, 2009, from 10:00am to 3:00pm at 9704 N. Boulevard in Tampa.

WHO: The Life Enrichment Center’s member and teacher artists, in addition to other local artists

WHAT: The Art Under the Trees Art Show and Sale will feature artwork created at the Life Enrichment Center, which is available for purchase by the public, just in time for the holidays. There will be hot dogs, baked goods and beverages on site and available for purchase; all sales benefiting the center.

WHEN: Saturday, December 5th, 2009, from 10:00am to 3:00pm

WHERE: 9704 N. Boulevard in Tampa

VISUALS: This will be a very visual event featuring artists and their artwork ranging from watercolors, acrylic and oil paintings, prints, jewelry, note cards, pottery, photography, portraits and other original arts and crafts in a park setting

About the Life Enrichment Center:
The Life Enrichment Center is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing creative, academic and wellness classes for active adults since 1980.
