Julie Robbins’ communications career began at the deep end, when she secured a position as a project intern in national network television. The project was CNN’s live coverage of the 2000 Presidential Election. Julie’s performance on the election team quickly led to her appointment as an associate and then Northeast Regional Producer at the historic CBS Broadcast Center in New York City. In 2003, ABC News/Disney and the Daytime, Emmy award-winning program, Good Morning America recruited Julie to serve as a show producer. At just 26 years old, she led a team of high-profile broadcast news professionals through a daily fast-paced, deadline-driven editorial process; gaining recognition for producing highly-rated show segments.
After completing her contract with ABC News; Julie joined the elite primetime editorial team of Fox News Channel (FNC) cable network. At Fox she created feature, hard news and documentary segments seen by the audiences of FNC, their national affiliates and sister network, Sky News, in Europe. In her role as a primetime cable news producer with FNC, Julie covered an extensive mix of local, national and international news stories and events ranging from New Year’s Eve Specials in New York City’s Time Square, interviewing leading politicians including US President Barack Obama and overseas Prime Ministers to sports stars and controversial figures making the news. Julie’s professional television career has involved every facet of production including show building and story selection, guest and talent booking, in-the-field reporting, directing, program development, set and lighting design, graphics and animation creation, video editing, scripting, copy writing and program promotions.
In tandem with network news production, Julie also worked as a publicist helping national newsmakers obtain valuable editorial coverage, providing them with expanded communication channels and enhancing their personal brands.
In 2009, Julie focused her talents on founding her own boutique organization, IdeaWorks Creative Group. As the Senior Marketing and Creative Strategist, she and her team craft and execute thoughtful marketing and publicity campaigns for subject-matter experts, businesses and established not-for-profit organizations. As a result, IdeaWorks’ clients enjoy the positive market presence that can be delivered only by professionals with ‘big picture’ experience.
Also a Partner in EcoCOOL Technologies U.S. and U.K., Julie and a team specialize in significantly reducing commercial refrigeration and cooling costs through the application of a unique catalyst, a ‘green’ product delivering excellent ROI, fast payback and a significant impact on reducing operating cost.
In 2012, Julie became a founding Partner of IdeaActive, a new type of Performance Management Company. Unlike traditional agency models, IdeaActive designs and implements marketing roadmaps that are fully integrated with client’s business plans and focused on measurable growth. Each IdeaActive roadmap utilizes Matrix Marketing™; multiple interconnected customer engagement channels, tailored to individual business goals.
Julie studied graphic design at the prestigious, Parsons The New School For Design, in New York City. She also obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from The University of Tampa, where she graduated with high honors.
In her free time, Julie is a dedicated world explorer, German language student and co-skipper of her family’s sailing vessel, the “Wanderlust.”

Peter Lewis Strategic Communications, Partner in IdeaActive (IdeaWorks' Sister Company)
Peter has more than 30 years of mainstream broadcasting experience with the BBC and all major commercial networks in the U.K. His on-screen credits include News, Current Affairs, Sports, Entertainment and Presentation. Peter cut his teeth writing and delivering live commentaries on national and international news stories. He developed his interviewing skills with senior politicians who ranged from British Prime Ministers and European Commissioners, to the political leadership of the ASEAN region and U.S. leaders such as Alexander Haig and James Schlesinger. He also worked regularly with major stars from the world of entertainment, including, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Sammy Davis Jr. and John Houston.
In parallel with his broadcasting career, in 1976, Peter began consulting with major corporations and government departments, such as the British Cabinet Office and H.M. Treasury, on critical aspects of strategic positioning and communications. Peter played a central role in supporting Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s privatization of telecommunications. His consulting firm, Integrated Strategies Group (ISG) became an international leader in the development and application of ‘strategy positioning’ tools and methodologies. In 1988, Peter was asked to help Digital Equipment Corporation improve strategic relationships with its channel partners – this engagement was the first of an increasing number of requests to support United States corporations. Typically, Peter operated at senior management, or board level. Engagements ranged from the design of unique business development events and thought leadership programs to crisis/media management and the development of strategic growth initiatives. His clients included Compaq, HP, Microsoft, Ford Motor Company, Dow Chemical, Dow AgroSciences, Bristol Myers Squibb, Pharmacia, Singapore Technologies, Ladbrokes, Procter & Gamble, British Telecom, Northern Telecom, AT&T, Scottish Widows, Kleinwort Benson, JPMorgan Chase, National Westminster Bank and Canon. In 1999, ISG relocated its headquarters from London to Houston, TX. Within six months of establishing ISG’s first U.S. office, Peter received acquisition approaches from Delloitte, KPMG, Ernst & Young, Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen – each firm wanted to acquire ISG’s expertise in positioning intangible value. The key driver was the realization that while investors/markets consider both tangible and intangible value – ultimately, the investment decision is based on intangibles. During the first quarter of 2001, Peter was approached by Hewitt Associates to discuss the possibility of a merger with ISG. Hewitt is the world’s leading provider of ‘benefits’ outsourcing. Hewitt needed to establish an organization that would position the firm at an influential strategic level with senior executives and decision makers. The merger was successfully completed in September 2001, and Peter became Head of Hewitt’s Global Strategy Positioning Group. His responsibilities focused on helping clients define and position pragmatic business strategies that could be validated with customers, partners and analysts. The deliverable was a measurable improvement in client’s shareholder value. In January 2003, Peter accepted an invitation to become Global Business Development Executive for JPMorgan Chase, Treasury Services. In this role, he was responsible for establishing a customer focused strategic rationale for business growth opportunities. A critical function was to act as a catalyst for cross business communication and cooperation.
He worked closely with Treasury Services business leaders and the central acquisition team, to identify and evaluate acquisition and alliance targets that would produce top-line revenue and extension opportunities for Treasury Service’s core businesses. In addition, Peter and his team developed strategies for penetrating massive new markets and establishing market leadership positions.
In mid 2005, Peter returned to the world of entrepreneurs. His first assignment was to explore the potential for creating a bank that would provide new growth opportunities for a national, independent broker dealer; during this period, he also served as head of corporate communications for the broker dealer holding company.
In 2007, Peter became a founding Partner in ‘moneynoodle’ a unique business and technology architecture, which is designed to operate across multiple real-time communications platforms including online, mobile and television. Users are engaged through experiential, interactive applications; user interaction is logged and processed through a sophisticated business intelligence system that can provide advanced demographic data on how consumers really behave. The objective is to unlock the true value of social networks and deliver multiple indirect monetization channels.
From 2009 to 2012, Peter was a founding Partner with Thuzi, LLC. a leading social media marketing company and one of only 25 organizations in the world that is a preferred Facebook developer/consultant. Peter’s primary interest was to ensure that social media solutions were properly aligned with the specific objectives of each client business.
During this period, he tested and developed an holistic approach to generating business growth in the community banking sector. The process exploits the unique tracking and analytics capabilities of social media to significantly enhance customer intelligence and measure ROI.
Today, Peter is a Partner with IdeaActive, a sister company of IdeaWorks Creative Group, IdeaActive is a ‘performance management’ company focused specifically on building brand value and driving measurable business growth. IdeaActive draws on the global experience of its lead team, to help facilitate client business strategies and manage the development and execution of roadmaps for growth. Every roadmap is fully integrated with the business plan and implemented through Matrix Marketing™ - a matrix of interconnected customer engagement channels, tailored to individual business goals.
Peter has been involved with numerous not-for-profit activities including the creation of innovative economic development initiatives for the financial services industry in Florida and the evaluation of new international trading models that could address extreme poverty. He has mentored for Big Brothers Big Sisters and currently servers on the Executive Board of the Champions for Children organization, (formerly, The Child Abuse Council).

Nick Frühling grew up in a family of artists. With both
parents consistently creating and teaching art, a love for creative expression
was naturally instilled in him from the very beginning. In a house full of
painting supplies, sketch books, home video cameras, and one of the first

Andrew Lee Video Producer, Motionographer, Creative Thinker
A strong foundation in graphic design and communication from the University of South Florida gave Andrew a unique perspective when he began crafting videos in 2004. As technology continued to change at a lightning fast pace, Andrew noticed the fusion of design trends across a variety of mediums — print design was looking more like web design, web elements were showing up in TV commercials, and traditional static media, such as billboards, were becoming interactive. As internet speed increased, and social media took the world by storm, Andrew knew that the future of advertising would truly be a personalized and interactive multimedia experience. With this in mind, he began to immerse himself in every design medium and communication outlet imaginable.
In 2004, Andrew cut his teeth in the production world on the filming, editing, and production of hundreds of local TV commercials for various clients and studios. In 2006, he passionately pursued an idea to produce a feature-length documentary film he titled, Easy Street. Armed with a small HD camera, and with literally no budget, Andrew spent one year documenting the lives of five homeless people as they struggled through life on the streets. Easy Street received unexpected national acclaim, and was picked up by Netflix soon thereafter.
In 2007 Andrew formed Roundhouse Creative, and focused his efforts on offering motion graphics and animation services — a niche he noticed was lacking in the Tampa Bay Area. Roundhouse was soon commissioned by Bright House Networks to help produce The Connext Project: The Bay Area’s first live event showcasing the latest cutting edge motion graphics, music, and animation from around the world. From the success of the Connext Project, Andrew became a sought after producer for innovative videos and multimedia messaging. Today, Andrew and the Roundhouse team hold multiple awards and honors in the industry, with the most recent four Telly Awards won in 2011.
Andrew now manages Roundhouse Creative Studio with fellow designer and wife, Brooke Webster. Together they oversee a talented team of writers, producers, cinematographers, editors, animators, and other production specialists. Their latest venture has been the strategic partnership with Idea Works Creative Group, where they now combine specialties to provide clients with a truly comprehensive creative approach.

Only months after earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University in Broadcast and Film, Nicole moved to New York City in search of her creative career niche. It was only a matter of time before her uncanny ability for pointing out talent in the streets of New York City and her sharp, natural eye landed her a position as a casting assistant with Godlove & Company casting agency. Within six months, Nicole earned a Senior Casting Director role at Godlove, focusing primarily on beauty and print campaigns. Her recent casting projects include work for Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Lifetime, Fine Living Network, SiTV and HGTV and Nickelodeon.

Take a Listen to Idea Works' Official Music Reel, Created by Our Master Composer, Dave Velez.
A native of Puerto Rico and long-time resident of the Tampa Bay area (both oozing with musical culture and history), rhythm and melody were instant fixtures in Dave’s life, from day one. The son of a professional musician, he recalls “hanging around” his father’s recording studio and at live performances as a toddler in a crib, just soaking in all sorts of musical genres and projects. As he discovered and honed in on his own musical abilities, Dave realized he not only shared his father’s musical passions and talents, but learned he could easily play “by ear,” a highly-sought after skill some musicians work a lifetime to master. This ability allows him to play a wide variety of instruments and styles very well.
Dave’s credits include performing at live events, including many years of professionally accompanying Latin Grammy Award-winning salsa artist Bobby Cruz and producing full albums of music for a wide-range of clients. Dave’s work has also been profiled on national and international television broadcasts including networks such as A&E, Animal Planet, The National Geographic Channel, G4, SpikeTV and The Fox Sports Network, to name a few. He has had compositions played and discussed at Adobe Software’s AdobeMax Conference in San Francisco, California, Tokyo, Japan and in Italy, where one of Adobe Software’s chief officers sung Dave’s praises. Additionally, he has also enjoyed creating custom musical compositions for multiple online games.
His professional accomplishments and multi-dimensional musical capabilities make Dave the ideal fit for the Idea Works Creative team.
